We’re expecting a busy day at the Children’s
Activities corner of the
5th Painting Purcellville Green
sustainability event!
The directors of the Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy’s
popular youth Nature Camps will lead small groups on mini nature explorations
of downtown Purcellville.
The 5 R’s -- a group of Round Hill youth dedicated
to the principles of reduce, reuse, recycle, repair, and repeat – will help
children create whimsical and wearable arts and crafts made from recycled
materials, including crayons, bottle caps, bottle cap magnets, and soda tab
chains
A representative of the The Nature Generation will
be testing children’s knowledge of the environment in a hilarious
Jeopardy-style game called Eco-Logic.
The Round Hill Arts Center will be back this year
with its popular face painter and
other activities for children.
And the challenging Recycle Toss game will be back,
too, with prizes for good aim!
